Hello Everyone!
This should be one of those "Long time-no see" moments!`
From Elaine:
As luck would have it, both Kerri and I are making life changes and moving during the time our Journeys Anthology goes out every year. We are working on the book around our busy schedules and happenstances....
The pic above is of my kitchen this morning. I had to move all items from my bedroom, office and laundry areas into the kitchen/living area so the entire ceiling could be stripped to the rafters.. (An unexpected time consuming and financial fiasco!)
I am waiting on the delivery of insulation and my son and his good friend will put it all to rights on Monday.. Wiring redone, sprayed and cleaned out. Then, I will be able to set my office up and get back to work!
I am going to love it here once I get everything unpacked and how I want it. Then in the Spring, I can build lovely gardens. I am excited, although I hope the surprises are over!
I am grateful for our author's patience. We are about halfway through formatting, but all contracts have been returned and I have photos and bios in files so we are working on the final copy of the anthology. We will publish in November as usual... I just can't promise when in November!
From Kerri:
To add to the madness that has been our effort to bring forth the newest Journeys anthology, here's a picture of my dining area:
My biggest challenge is moving from a 2500 square foot home to a 42-foot 5th wheel travel trailer. My husband, a truck driver for 36 years, retired and after much thought and watching many videos of full-time RVers, we thought it a fabulous idea to travel all over these beautiful United States for the next few years and see family along the way. I have 30 years of wedded "bliss" and 16 years before that of living on my own to shrink down into our current home. No easy task, my friends! No easy task, indeed. But we will be victorious as soon as I can get it all out of my hair and either off for donation or sold to the highest bidder! And in between, I'm trying to do whatever Elaine needs from me.
We love our contributors! We appreciate you trusting us to gently edit and place your stories and poems in these wonderful anthologies. Thank you for being a part of them.

I like the first one the one with the woman. The 5 star one could mean many things
Wow, you two are both on your own journeys. I’m sure everything will work out in the end.
I like the bottom cover, it’s more magical and mysterious.
Well, it's not the destination that's important -- it's the journey, and it sounds like your has been, is, and will be intriguing, enchanting and fulfilling. Keep it up !
I like the bottom cover the best!
Thank you, Jim! We're excited. I'm looking forward to meeting Elaine face to face in Texas after my nephew's wedding in New Orleans in early January!
